Udaipur, one of the best place I have ever been to #amazingtrip #inabsolutelovewiththiscity !

Starting with the lakes; who says " Rajasthan is a desert place" ...when it has a city like Udaipur !!

The beautiful and enchanting lakes here are amazing …..They are inexplicable!... Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Jaisamand lake, Udaisagar Lake, Rajasmand lake are some of the popular lakes among which I visited three....Since ages, these lakes have been providing water to the city dwellers.

Lake Pichola is a 4 km long man-made lake and  it is not  just an ordinary lake….. it is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen!!……..No wonder that boating in Lake Pichola is one of the must do thing.  “I literally felt like breathing in the air filled with blend of serenity, beauty and thrill”

What to say about Fateh Sagar Lake, Blue waters of this lake and the  backdrop of green has given the soubriquet of the second Kashmir to the city…. The night view of this lake is amazing!! …… All lakes are interconnected in such a way that if water flows in one lake after filling automatically water is transferred to the other and the fountains there work on the pressure of the lake .

I got a telescope there via which I managed to get a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding city. The beauty of the city palace and lake palace leave me awestruck!!........The architecture is "exquisite..." It indeed adds to the exoticism of Udaipur!!

Saheliyon Ki Bari which I imagined would be a place where some beautiful apsaras might sing a welcome song to us :P :P , but actually it was a garden, embellished with numerous fountains in its four water pools, chiseled kiosks and marble elephants!!...

Then, finally came the turn to visit Shipgram which is abounding with artisians & performers .  An ideal destination of Udaipur to try out their handicrafts in the form of clothes, accessories, interior decoration stuff, etc.

At the end of the trip, covered Karni Mata mandir which is known to be the Rat temple of Rajasthan. These rats never leave the temple even though they are free to do so.  I say, why leave when you are given a steady stream of tasty milk and treats.
